Wait what?! It’s summer?! HELL YEAH IT IS!
Thank goodness things are starting to go back to normal and with that feeling of normalcy …it’s time to ramp up some fun initiatives at StableDuel.
To kick off June, we’ve partnered with the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation for a month of hashtag blasts! Since the start of StableDuel, we have worked to show as much love as we can to the equine athletes that give us our entertainment. Once our equine athletes are retired from racing, they go on to the next part of their life through various paths and careers with the help of great organiziations such as the Thoroughbred Retirement Fund (TRF).
“I’m a huge advocated for aftercare as I own a retired racehorse myself and would advocate for the breed over and over again as a riding horse no matter what your goals are.” said StableDuel’s Bri Mott, “The cool thing about the TRF is they provide homes to some of the horses that can’t necessarily become competitive riding horses but still have an amazing purpose. When Jessica from TRF reached out, it was a no-brainer to team up!”
“We are so excited to partner with StableDuel to raise awareness for Thoroughbred aftercare,” said Jessica Paquette, Director of Communications and Annual Fund for the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. “StableDuel is continually finding new, innovative ways to engage new audiences in racing and this is a wonderful opportunity to share the mission of the TRF – that every horse deserves a safe, happy retirement.”
As a company we ask our players to stepping up to help make sure that these animals can live out their lives after racing in the best way possible. So, in the month of June, anytime that YOU, our players share a pic, during or after a contest, of their stable in the app on social media and include #PlayRaceAdopt, StableDuel will make a donation to the TRF.
Starting Tuesday June 1st, make sure you get those pics out on social and let’s raise some money and awareness for a great cause. That very small effort can make a world of difference. So, don’t forget, in June, it’s #PlayRaceAdopt.

About the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation:
Founded in 1983, the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation is a national organization devoted to saving Thoroughbred horses no longer able to compete at the racetrack from possible neglect, abuse, and slaughter. As the oldest Thoroughbred rescue in the country, the TRF provides sanctuary to retired Thoroughbreds throughout their lifetime.
Best known for its pioneering TRF Second Chances program, the organization provides incarcerated individuals with vocational training through its accredited equine care and stable management program.
